In 1940, four teenagers discovered this prehistoric cave in Montignac… For the first stop during your holidays at Soleil Plage, set out to discover Lascaux II, the reproduction of the original Lascaux Cave. Stroll through the medieval town of Rocamadour

Perched on the cliff, this village is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Padirac Cave
Set out to explore Padirac Cave (intégrer lien vers page « Gouffre de Padirac »), just a few minutes from Rocamadour. It is the first underground site in France that can be discovered on foot or by boat! Immerse yourself in this 103-metre deep open-air cavity and navigate along the underground river 40 kilometres long accompanied by your boatman… Disembark and visit Padirac Cave, which was discovered in 1889 by Edouard-Alfred Martel. Visit Dordogne and Vitrac
In the heart of Dordogne, le Domaine de Soleil Plage is situated in the historic village of Vitrac-Monfort, (intégrer lien vers page « Vitrac ») which overlooks the river. Stroll through the historic heart of the town for the day and admire Saint-Martin’s church and take the fisherman’s path as far as the ancient Montfort wash house. To continue your visit, go back down to Vitrac and board a traditional Dordogne gabarre. Athletes will be happy to know that it is possible to organise a canoe trip!
